  • How much would you pay...? How much would you charge...?

...pay... for someone willing to train and act with a mind of goodwill (metta) toward all beings, and how much do you pay for those promising to work formost for you, put others secondary?

...charge... if being demanded to act in spirit of goodwill toward all beings, and how less do you charge if not demanded to act in spirit of goodwill?

I think goodwill is invaluable, both when it is in me and when it is in other people.

As I said, it is invaluable, so I would sacrifice anything for goodwill. Perhaps there is a difficulty in determining what goodwill is. How can we judge the heart of people, if they have goodwill or not? I think it is impossible. I can’t judge even myself: I just try to do better and better.
